A Privacy SME is responsible for knowing privacy regulations and guiding a legal/compliance team in creating their own policies based on how their organization does business. They also know which regulation section to relate those customer policies to and how to use the policy facet to categorize, classify, and organize data per regulatory requirements. They know how to interpret a Request of Processing Activities (RoPA) report and a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) response example into Axon Facet/Relationship designs and also know how to extract data from Data Privacy management and Axon to create report data collection that can then be used by 3rd party reporting tools.
Responsibilities
- Understands the similarities and differences between privacy regulations.
- Works with legal/compliance teams to determine their interpretation of the regulation into their organization's policies.
- Interprets privacy reports (RoPA, DSAR) into Axon Facet/Relationship Designs.
- Assists in implementing the Axon Facet/Relationship Designs via bulk upload.
- Mentors Data Governance team members in correct Axon facet usage.
- Is familiar with Axon and DPM API Calls to facilitate reporting in third party reporting tools.
