Consider where automation could be most impactful for your business. Which popular routes to data do not require approval or could base approval on available metadata? Which popular shared environments could have automated delivery applied to them?
To continue to increase TTV and expand the power of the Marketplace you could consider adding in data that is readily accessible across the organization. For instance, if you have things in a centralized ShareDrive which is internally accessible to all as it does not require approval, or if you regularly refer to public domain data, you can add a representation of this to the marketplace and set up an 'automatic' template which will provide the consumer with the link as soon as they request access.
A framework can be created using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services Application Integration (IDMC - CAI) to make REST API calls to Data Marketplace. With this in place, you can automate background processes, kicked off by orders in the Marketplace. This could allow for automated approval based on specific criteria (e.g. check the department of the consumer) and even automated delivery (e.g. move data to this endpoint for the user or add this user to an existing user group who has access to this endpoint).
REST calls can be used to create, manage, and retrieve Data Marketplace objects as well as to coordinate and control delivery. If you are using another metadata management tool, consider API integration to sync this up with Data Marketplace.
