PowerCenter Cloud Edition (CDI-PC) securely connects on-premises PowerCenter deployments with the Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) to simplify management, operations, and upgrades. While customers maintain full control over their on-premises infrastructure and data behind their firewall, CDI-PC combines the strengths of traditional deployments with the benefits of a cloud-native data management platform. IDMC offers extensive cloud-native and AI-powered capabilities including data cataloging, integration, quality, governance, MDM, and more.
CDI-PC features an on-premises domain similar to an Informatica domain in PowerCenter. Understanding its components and the key differences between CDI-PC and the traditional PowerCenter platform is essential for effective migration and management.
