Cloud Data Integration for PowerCenter (CDI-PC) offers a streamlined solution to modernize your legacy PowerCenter assets by seamlessly migrating them to the cloud. PowerCenter Cloud edition (CDI-PC) aims to securely connect on-premises Informatica PowerCenter deployments with IDMC to ease management, operability, and upgrade.
A PowerCenter customer has complete control of their on-premises infrastructure and data, secured behind their firewall. PowerCenter Cloud Edition combines the strengths of on-premises PowerCenter deployments with the benefits of a cloud-native data management platform such as IDMC.
Informatica Cloud Data Integration for PowerCenter (CDI-PC) adds full PowerCenter compatibility to Cloud Data Integration, an Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud™ (IDMC) service. IDMC enables organizations to use a market-leading, cloud-native data engineering solution to ingest, integrate, and cleanse their data. IDMC also provides comprehensive, cloud-native, and AI-powered data management capabilities, including data catalog, data integration, API and application integration, data quality, master data management (MDM) and 360 applications, data governance and privacy, and data marketplace.
CDI-PC includes an on-premises domain that works similar to an Informatica domain in PowerCenter. Please refer to the documentation to understand the components of CDI-PC and to learn about the key differences between CDI-PC and PowerCenter.
To ensure that you gain maximum value from the IDMC platform, we offer multiple prescriptive technical guidance services that enable you to easily upgrade an older version of PowerCenter to newer versions of PowerCenter so that you can quickly upgrade to the cloud with PowerCenter Cloud Edition.
