Cloud Data Validation capabilities allow you to rapidly identify data anomalies — such as missing, unmatched, or extra records — and validate metadata conversion accuracy at the data level. This significantly reduces testing time and allows for faster production time for migration projects.
Cloud Data Validation (CDV) tests only the target table data, not the converted mappings or workflows.
Test cases to be created providing the connections, list of tables, configure, smart match the columns between two tables, enable out-of-the-box features like aggregate functions, edit the settings as per the need for data sampling/to regulate the number of records to be processed, setup the email alerts, and schedule the test case.
Multiple test cases can be bundled in a test suite to cater to specific business use cases, data integrity end-to-end testing having dependencies.
Cloud Data Validation report post execution shows the match status/summary detailing the number of records processed and matched and points out the mismatched column/s. List down the bad, missing, unmatched records, and extra records. The report also provides the aggregate summary report.
