As a data owner or a business user, you have the capability to curate business glossaries for technical assets. This process adds valuable context to the data, making it more easily discoverable. Business glossaries consist of terminology that is familiar within your organization.

In addition, if you are a data owner and wish to label or classify data into various categories that are crucial for your organization, you can curate data classifications within the Data Governance and Catalog.

To add business assets in bulk, enter the asset details in one or more template files and import the files to the Data Governance and Catalog using the predefined Microsoft Excel (.xslx and .xlsm) template.

Alternatively, you can search for the business and technical assets from the system, export the results of a search, bulk enrich and curate the exported file, and re-import the file into Data Governance and Catalog.
