Survivorship is the process of creating a master record, or the most trusted version of a record, by selecting data from multiple matching source records. This process begins after the matching process has identified candidate duplicates. To create master records based on your preferred criteria, you'll need to run a match and merge job. This job requires configuring survivorship rules, which specify how to choose the most reliable record, and also includes ranking the source systems based on their data quality and trustworthiness.
