- Cloud Application Integration: Beginner
To fulfil your API-first strategy, you need to integrate on-premises data and applications with Cloud and other on-premises applications, data sources, and services. Did you know that the Cloud Application Integration Service can connect these systems in real-time using APIs? Did you also know that you can implement and host business services and microservices and expose these to your applications and partners in the Cloud and on-premises?
Let us begin our journey into the world of API and Application Integration. There is a lot to learn and we will help you get through it using structured modules and various avenues to learn using videos, KBs and Cloud Application Integration Community. This is a beginner course and we will start with the basics of the service.

Secure Agent Requirements
A Secure Agent is a lightweight program that runs all tasks that you configure in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services and processes your company's data locally and securely. A Secure Agent must be running to run tasks.
The following links will guide you through the prerequisites before you install a Secure Agent on your machine, such as the operating system that will support the Secure Agent, access to all remote directories and more.
Secure Agent Logs and Architecture
While using Informatica Cloud Secure Agent, different types of log files can be found, such as session log, error log, success log, infaagent log, and tomcat log.

This video gives an overview of the Explore page in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services and will help you understand more about Projects, Folders, and Tags.
Status.Informatica.com displays the production status of all the Informatica Cloud products. All maintenance updates will be posted to this status page and will have the most current information.
To ensure you are notified of updates and outages, you can subscribe to a single component, a single incident, or the site as a whole. Subscribing to the site as a whole is the best way to be certain you never miss an update.
To subscribe, go to http://status.informatica.com and click Subscribe to Updates. You can then choose to receive notifications sent as emails, SMS text messages, webhooks, RSS feeds or any combination of the four.
This video will provide an overview on Cloud Application Integration. It will cover concepts and capabilities of the service through a demo spanning various services on Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services Platform. The example showcased in this video is a multi-channel fulfillment process which recieves input through API or B2B and fulfill orders through various channels including Cloud Integration Hub and Data Integration.

This video is a brief introduction to API and Application Integration Capabilities within IICS.
A three-part series of API and application integration services that demonstrates how Cloud Application Integration services can help you connect systems in real time using APIs.
Demo Part 1 showcases how an API administrator interacts with IICS’s API Manager:
Demo Part 2 showcases how IT Operations can monitor services and APIs, ensure business processes move forward, and provide support in case of exceptions.
Demo Part 3 showcases how a developer can use Informatica’s Cloud Application Integration service to build the processes that become APIs.
This series demonstrates how you can implement and host business and microservices and expose these to your applications and partners in the Cloud and on premises.

Learn how to use Process Designer to Integrate applications in the Cloud and on-premise.
In this video, learn how to:
- Create a basic process that takes no input
- Make a process accessible as a REST service with metadata definition available through swagger
- Execute the service

This video will provide an overview on:
- Connectors
- Types of Connectors
- Connections
In this video, you will learn how to:
- Create a service connector looking at API documentation
- Create a service connector by importing metadata definition (swagger, in this video)
- Create a connection on a service connector
This guide will take you through how to design service connectors that are in Data Integration, inside your firewall, or anywhere in the cloud, as long as they have an API.
In this video, we will learn how to:
- Define a Process Object. This would be a complex object including simple data types
- Use it as an input in the process
- Use it as input (in "Applies To") in the process
This video will introduce you to Cloud Application Integration Guides.
- What is a Guide?
- Why is it needed?
This video explains how to create and run a simple guide.
You will learn how to use Guide Designer to Integrate applications in the Cloud and on-premise here.
The Application Integration Console provides options to monitor and manage your processes, whether they are running on the Informatica Cloud Server or on a Secure Agent you create in a new runtime environment. Click here to know more.
