While highly customizable and reliable, it lacks the advanced AI-driven features found in Informatica’s cloud versions, limiting insights and automation. Informatica Cloud Data Quality (CDQ) offers several benefits compared to traditional on-premises IDQ solutions. Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) is an iPaaS-based application, accessible from any device with internet connectivity and a web browser. Data Quality features are available through the Data Quality and Profiling services, while Mappings are created and executed within the Data Integration service. The application includes multiple wizards that guide users through building and testing tasks. Additionally, jobs can be scheduled and monitored with ease. When a user accesses the application, the web browser securely connects to Informatica Cloud Services via HTTPS. Informatica Cloud Services hosts the IDMC repository, which stores detailed information about tasks.
