Today we want to provide a best practice how to build a structure system.
A structure system is useful for getting your product data in an defined order. This will help you for example to create easier and faster
• Webshops
• Printcatalogs
with their table of contents and indexes.
Commodity groups can also carry features which helps you to standardize, harmonize and normalize your product data.
Side note: in the Informatica PIM you have the possibility to differ between products, variants and items.
To confuse nobody in the first steps, we use only the term products.
