Pass Through Ports - XML and Web Services
This video shows how to add a pass-through port in any XML midstream transformation or web services consumer transformation. There are a lot of use cases where there is a need to pass through some fields through the XML based transformations like parser, generator or web services consumer. Since these transformations are active transformations, we cannot directly add pass through ports like how we do for passive transformations. This video shows you how to solve this.
