Profile and analyze source system data to understand its structure, quality, completeness, and consistency.

Analyze statistics such as data types, null and unique values, value distributions, patterns, and anomalies.

Help identify issues and opportunities to apply Cloud Data Quality rules in the context of the applicable Master Data Management SaaS (MDM SaaS) solution.

Customer Prerequisites
Business/Technical Outcomes

• One (1) source system analyzed, including up to five (5) data objects and ten (10) attributes per object (up to fifty (50) attributes total). 

Note: A Data Object is defined as a unique database table or flat file with a representative dataset to be used for profiling

• Improved Decision-Making: Better understanding of data quality and characteristics aims to enable informed decision-making, leading to improved business processes and outcomes

• Detection of anomalies, outliers, and inconsistencies in the data that could be addressed during the MDM SaaS process

• Enhanced Data Governance: Data profiling provides insights into data quality issues and helps in establishing data governance policies and procedures which aim to ensure data integrity and compliance

Document Deliverables

• Data Profiling Report: Summarizes the findings from data profiling activities, including data quality metrics, anomalies, patterns, and recommendations for improvement

• Data Quality Assessment: Documents the assessment of data quality against predefined criteria, highlighting areas of concern and recommended actions
