MDM Onboarding Design & Support (ICHS)
Applicable to Master Data Management (MDM) - Customer 360 (C360) or MDM Multidomain (Informatica Cloud Hosted Service (ICHS)).
Validate and configure one (1) ICHS MDM environment in preparation for implementation. This includes validating the provisioned environment, configuring Operational Reference Store (ORS) and database settings, validating Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) service integration, Elasticsearch connectivity, and ActiveVOS workflow engine availability. Configure ORS-level settings including timeline granularity (Note: This is an irreversible configuration decision that must be made prior to any data load). For non-US implementations, validate that the appropriate population file(s) are installed on the ICHS process server. Validate environment connectivity, and integration endpoints to ensure the ICHS platform is ready for implementation.
• Customer to whitelist ICHS MDM URLs, IP addresses, and ports on its corporate network and firewall prior to commencement
• Customer to confirm planned ICHS MDM environment tier and region with Informatica prior to commencement
• Customer to provide a list of its business and technical subject matter experts and ensure their availability to participate in review and feedback
• Customer to provide non-functional requirements including data volumes, number of source systems, and language/locale requirements
• MDM version and licensing, server topology (application, ActiveVOS, Elasticsearch), database platform, environment topology, and population file requirements confirmed and documented.
• Infrastructure validated against the MDM Multidomain Product Availability Matrix
• High-level operating structure, including steering and working entities, overall program governance structure, and initial governance processes identified.
• Population file(s) for non-US geographies licensed and made available by Customer (if applicable)
• Lightweight Directory Access Protocol/Active Directory connection details and identity provider access made available (if applicable)
• ICHS MDM environment provisioned and validated in one (1) environment
• ORS created and configured
• IDQ services validated and integration with MDM hub confirmed
• Elasticsearch connectivity validated (if applicable)
• ActiveVOS embedded workflow engine configured for out-of-the-box approval workflows (if applicable)
• Population files validated on ICHS process server for non-US implementations (if applicable)
• Environment connectivity, security controls, and integration endpoints validated
• Completed ICHS MDM environment validation checklist and platform confirmed ready for implementation
• Environment Validation Report

Professional Services Units can be converted into Training Units upon written request submitted to the Customer’s assigned Informatica Delivery Manager. The conversion ratio is one (1) Professional Services Unit to ten (10) Training Units. The converted Training Units can be used for any training currently offered in the Informatica University catalog other than training subscriptions.
