Applicable to Master Data Management (MDM) - Customer 360 or MDM Multidomain (On-premise).
Install and configure the full Informatica MDM on-premise software stack in one (1) environment. This includes database setup, application server configuration, MDM hub installation, process server setup, Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) server installation and integration, Elasticsearch configuration, and ActiveVOS embedded workflow engine configured for out-of-the-box approval workflows (if applicable).
Configure operating system-level prerequisites, operating system locale, Java Development Kit (JDK), application server, and password hashing and keystore settings across all servers. Plan and create dedicated database tablespaces, configure database character set and Natural Language Support (NLS) settings for multi-language implementations, and determine timeline granularity prior to any data load (Note: This is an irreversible configuration decision).
Install and configure the Informatica domain for IDQ, including required services, cleanse functions, message queues, Service Integration Framework endpoints, and Operational Reference Store configuration for the data domain in scope. Install and configure Elasticsearch. For non-US implementations, Global Customer Support will be engaged to acquire, install and configure the appropriate population file(s) on the process server.
Validate environment connectivity and security controls configuration to ensure the platform is ready for implementation.
