MDM Design Support
Applicable to Master Data Management SaaS – Customer 360, Master Data Management SaaS – Supplier 360, Master Data Management SaaS – Product 360, Master Data Management – Reference 360, or Multidomain Master Data Management.
Engage Customer's business and technical subject matter experts to guide planning, assessment, and design activities for the implementation of the applicable Master Data Management SaaS (MDM SaaS) solution.
Review architecture, solution design, and configuration settings for alignment with Informatica-recommended best practices.
Key activities include:
(i) Prerequisites and Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) environment set-up and administration.
(ii) Architecture and design sessions with the core implementation team providing guidance on Informatica-recommended best practices to facilitate the reduction of implementation timelines and improve agility and extensibility of the applicable MDM SaaS solution.
(iii) Advisory services, interviews, and workshops to address business adoption, change management, strategy and/or future roadmap.
(iv) Design reviews of the following components of the applicable MDM SaaS solution, as jointly prioritized: ingress and egress strategy, Informatica-recommended Cloud Data Integration and Cloud Data Quality best practices for ingress and egress, match tuning, trust and survivorship, hierarchy configuration, Cloud Application Integration design and configuration to process the business events generated by the applicable MDM SaaS solution.
(v) Overview and demonstration of key features of the applicable MDM SaaS solution.
Note: Professional services for this offering are provided for a maximum of twelve (12) weeks. Services beyond the twelve (12) week period will require the purchase of other Professional Services Unit offerings.
• IDMC provisioned
• Server or Virtual Machine provisioned by Customer for installation of Secure Agent
• Customer stakeholders from various relevant departments (e.g., business users, data analysts, data engineers, data architects) available to participate in workshops and review meetings, and to provide general input
• Customer to provide documented use cases
• Agreement between Informatica and Customer on design component prioritization and engagement structure
• IDMC environment set-up and administration prerequisites reviewed
• Architecture and design sessions conducted (up to two (2) hours per session), and Customer feedback provided
• Advisory interviews and working session conducted, and Customer feedback provided
• Design reviews for prioritized components conducted (up to two (2) hours per session), and Customer feedback provided
• Customer business and technical stakeholders made aware of key features of the applicable MDM SaaS solution

Professional Services Units can be converted into Training Units upon written request submitted to the Customer’s assigned Informatica Delivery Manager. The conversion ratio is one (1) Professional Services Unit to ten (10) Training Units. The converted Training Units can be used for any training currently offered in the Informatica University catalog other than training subscriptions.
