MDM Data Ingress Starter
Applicable to Master Data Management SaaS – Customer 360 or Master Data Management SaaS – Supplier 360.
Analyze the source data to understand its structure, quality, completeness, and consistency.
Define source to target mappings, key data relationships, and any transformations to be applied on the data during the Master Data Management SaaS (MDM SaaS) ingress process.
Develop re-usable Cloud Data Quality (CDQ) rules.
If applicable, configure data as a service (DaaS) license keys and test the integration of address, phone and/or email verification services with MDM SaaS.
Extract, transform and load (ETL) foundation design and development for an MDM SaaS data source, including mapping, workflow steps and transformation logic.
Note: Data must be available in comma separated value (CSV) or relationship table structures (RDBMS).
• This catalog item requires Customer to engage Informatica to provide the full Master Data Management SaaS - Customer 360 or Master Data Management SaaS - Supplier 360 technical solution from initial design through proof of first value
• Customer to provide access to source data, including connection details, user accounts, table definitions, etc.
• Secure Agent(s) configured and enabled with all necessary services, connectors, and connections
• Customer to provide access to business and technical subject matter experts for review and feedback
• Functional requirements and business objectives documented
• Source objects identified
• Detection of anomalies, outliers, and inconsistencies in the data that could be addressed during the MDM SaaS process
• Enhanced Data Governance: Data profiling provides insights into data quality issues and helps in establishing data governance policies and procedures which aim to ensure data integrity and compliance
• Data transformation rules, CDQ rules definitions and exception handling strategy configured for up to three (3) attributes
• Access to real-time enrichment of address, phone and or email data (as licensed or subscribed)
• Users introduced to processes to create and manage code lists and crosswalks for the reference data
• Cloud Data Integration (CDI) mapping and task flow assets to load objects from two (2) data sources, not to exceed fifty (50) data elements and five million unconsolidated records
• Exception handling strategy
• Data Profiling Report: Summarizes the findings from data profiling activities, including data quality metrics, anomalies, patterns, and recommendations for improvement
• ETL Mapping Document: Detailed specification of mappings, transformation rules, and dependencies
• DaaS Configuration Steps Document (if applicable)

Professional Services Units can be converted into Training Units upon written request submitted to the Customer’s assigned Informatica Delivery Manager. The conversion ratio is one (1) Professional Services Unit to ten (10) Training Units. The converted Training Units can be used for any training currently offered in the Informatica University catalog other than training subscriptions.
