Conduct a targeted assessment of Customer's data architecture strategy, domain model, and corporate taxonomy against current Customer requirements and context.

Design a glossary strategy based on strategic Customer requirements, industry reference standards, and Informatica-recommended best practices.

Note: Applicable to native Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) functionality only.

Customer Prerequisites
Business/Technical Outcomes

• Detailed assessment of Customer's current business data architecture 

• Customer and Informatica have an understanding of key business domains and supportive conceptual mappings

• Initial business glossary strategy designed and ready for implementation in CDGC

Note: Focus is limited to two (2) functional domains, up to four (4) subdomains and up to thirty (30) terms as a starting point for the design. Customer may extend to more domains and terms on their own.

• Approach to improve key structures to align with creator and consumer use cases defined and reviewed

Document Deliverables

• Strategic assessment document for the domain and facet models that will support the core business use cases, including:

(i) recommended high level structures and approaches for business glossary domains, subdomains and terms

(ii) high-level transition plan to adapt to the new architecture

(iii) next steps, recommendations and timeline, if applicable
