EDC Custom Scanner Migration Execution
Provide Customer with guidance and inputs to facilitate the migration of one (1) Custom Scanner available in the existing on-premise Enterprise Data Catalog solution deployed by Customer (On-Premise EDC).
This process is completed manually using CSV files (no modernization utility support). CDI mappings can be used, if applicable.
Key activities include:
• re-creating the metadata model in Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) based on the custom model in On-Premise EDC
• creating the custom catalog source type in CDGC
• preparing the custom metadata definition files and lineage information
• creating the custom catalog source in CDGC
• executing the catalog source and ingesting metadata into CDGC
• providing post-migration assessment, validation, and reporting
• supporting end-user validation and knowledge transfer
• Understanding obtained of Customer's key business drivers, associated initiatives, and other related information for On-Premise EDC
• Business use cases for modernization implementation identified and prioritized
• Customer apprised of software/cloud service capabilities and functionality in an effort to address specific business challenges
• On-Premise EDC technical assets migrated into CDGC environment
• Migration documentation with post-migration assessment report, including the scope required to connect technical assets from the custom catalog sources available
• Customer to provide access for Informatica personnel to the production instance of On-Premise EDC
• IDMC/CDGC configuration and setup completed with documentation available
• Secure Agent installed and operational
• Roles with privileges and security measures created with documentation available
• Subscriptions or licenses for Informatica products are not included as part of this offering. Customer must have separately obtained subscriptions or licenses for the Informatica products applicable to this offering.
• Migration completed in one (1) production environment/Org/Sub-org
• Up to one (1) custom metadata model created in CDGC
• Up to one (1) custom catalog source type created in CDGC
• Up to one (1) custom catalog source imported into CDGC and metadata ingested
• Custom Scanner Migration Execution Runbook, including post-migration assessment report

Professional Services Units can be converted into Training Units upon written request submitted to the Customer’s assigned Informatica Delivery Manager. The conversion ratio is one (1) Professional Services Unit to ten (10) Training Units. The converted Training Units can be used for any training currently offered in the Informatica University catalog other than training subscriptions.
