Data Governance Security & Compliance Assessment
Applicable to Cloud Data Governance and Catalog, Cloud Data Quality, or Cloud Data Marketplace.
Assess role-based access control (RBAC) and permission-based access control (PBAC) permission structures in one (1) non-production environment and one (1) production environment. If applicable, review integration with single sign-on (SSO) with the intent to enhance security.
Evaluate data quality project/folder structures and permissions, connection permissions, scanner permissions, and end-user feedback.
The schedule per environment is as follows:
• Pre-meeting: up to 1-2 meetings (1hr. each)
• Security review meeting: up to 3 meetings (1 hr. each)
• This catalog item requires Customer to engage Informatica to provide the full data governance wellness assessment
• Governance operating model reviewed
• Documented roles, responsibilities and staffing reviewed and gaps identified
• Customer to provide current data governance security requirements/policies
• Customer to provide list of its subject matter experts and program/technical leads (e.g. data governance architects, enterprise architects, platform administrators, Informatica administrators, network administrators, etc.) to participate in the assessment work and provide feedback
• Customer to provide data quality information as applicable (e.g. relevant information about the implementation, such as projects created, rules defined, how they are used in data governance, frequency of running the rules, number of profiles defined, etc.)
• Customer to provide temporary administrative access to the Intelligent Data Management Cloud platform for Informatica resources performing the Data Governance Security and Compliance Assessment offline
• Gaps in the applicable data governance solution’s user access permissions and privileges identified
• Security permissions recommendations for the applicable Solution documented
• Security implementation recommendations for data governance resources and roles
• SSO implementation recommendations and plan (if applicable)

Professional Services Units can be converted into Training Units upon written request submitted to the Customer’s assigned Informatica Delivery Manager. The conversion ratio is one (1) Professional Services Unit to ten (10) Training Units. The converted Training Units can be used for any training currently offered in the Informatica University catalog other than training subscriptions.
