Data Governance Infrastructure & Environment Assessment
Applicable to Cloud Data Governance and Catalog, Cloud Data Quality, or Cloud Data Marketplace.
Review Secure Agent(s) capacity against sizing guidelines. Analyze architecture, cloud hosting setup (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise setup with the intent to optimize provisioning in one (1) non-production and one (1) production environment.
Assess shared/dedicated Secure Agent setup and elastic setup (if applicable) for advanced profiling.
Confirm whether connectors are enabled on the runtime environment for each use case.
Review licensing and IPU metering trends with the intent to optimize Customer's subscription costs.
The typical schedule is as follows:
• Pre-meeting: 1 meeting (1hr.)
• Infrastructure meetings to identify infrastructure requirements and prerequisites: up to 2 meetings (1 hr. each)
• This catalog item requires Customer to engage Informatica to provide the full data governance wellness assessment
• Business objectives and use case(s) reviewed and priorities identified
• Pain points in business processes identified and improvements defined
• Governance operating model reviewed
• Roles, responsibilities and staffing reviewed and gaps identified
• Customer to provide list of its technical subject matter experts and program/technical leads (e.g. data governance architects, enterprise architects, platform administrators, Informatica administrators, network administrators, etc.) to participate in the assessment work and provide feedback
• Customer to provide temporary administrative access to the Intelligent Data Management Cloud platform for Informatica resources performing the Data Governance Infrastructure & Environment Assessment offline
• Assessment of one (1) production and one (1) non-production environment completed
• Recommended infrastructure sizing for hardware (e.g. CPU, RAM, Disk Size, etc.) and software configurations (e.g. ports, firewall openings etc.) provided
• Secure Agent sizing document for data governance
• Recommended solution architecture diagram for data governance infrastructure

Professional Services Units can be converted into Training Units upon written request submitted to the Customer’s assigned Informatica Delivery Manager. The conversion ratio is one (1) Professional Services Unit to ten (10) Training Units. The converted Training Units can be used for any training currently offered in the Informatica University catalog other than training subscriptions.
