Data Ecosystem Business Discovery Workshop
Applicable to: (i) Cloud Data Integration (CDI), (ii) CDI and Cloud Data Quality (CDQ), or (iii) Cloud Application Integration (CAI).
Facilitate identification of Customer's business drivers, data needs, and reporting challenges to uncover high impact use cases to drive data ecosystem integration, including implementation of the applicable solution(s). Analyze and prioritize use cases.
The typical workshop schedule is as follows:
• Pre-meeting: 1 – 2 (1 hr. each)
• Workshop: 1 (4 hrs.) - limited up to 15 people
• Wrap-up Meeting: 1 – 2 (1 hr. each)
Key tasks include:
(i) interviewing Customer’s business stakeholders to understand key business drivers for data ecosystem integration needs, including data quality elements
(ii) conducting an analysis to facilitate an understanding of existing Customer vision, key activities in flight, executive support and funding
(iii) assessing Customer’s existing business change management, communication and training programs
(iv) evaluating intangible business value use cases - risk, compliance and innovation
(v) creating success key performance indicators for data ecosystem integration
• Customer to provide list of its business and technical subject matter experts and program/technical leads to participate in the workshop and to provide review and feedback
• Understanding obtained of Customer’s key business drivers, associated initiatives, and other related information for data integration
• Business use cases for implementation identified
• Confirmation that Customer's use case(s) can be met with provisioned cloud service subscriptions
• High-level capture of source and target applications and data stores to be integrated, including those applications targeted for data quality improvements
• Customer apprised of CDI, CDI and CDQ, or CAI capabilities and how they address specific business challenges
• Executive Summary Presentation comprised of:
(i) workshop discussion and observations
(ii) needs/issues identified
(iii) prioritized set of candidate pilot projects
(iv) high-level next steps, recommendations, and timelines

The conversion ratio is one (1) Professional Services Unit to ten (10) Training Units. The converted Training Units can be used for any training currently offered in the Informatica University catalog other than training subscriptions.
