CIH Infrastructure – Hosted Repository Setup
Configure and validate the Cloud Integration Hub (CIH) hosted publication repository within Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services. The hosted repository is managed by Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services Hosting Services and requires no on-premises database infrastructure from the Customer. This engagement covers Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) CIH native user creation, repository configuration, and validation documented in a configuration runbook.
Key activities include:
(i) confirming Customer has agreed to proceed with the hosted repository option
(ii) creating IDMC CIH native user account(s) required for CIH operations
(iii) configuring the hosted CIH publication repository within the IDMC organization
(iv) validating CIH repository connectivity and functionality
(v) documenting configuration steps and outcomes
(vi) conducting knowledge transfer with Customer's technical team
• Customer has a foundational understanding of CIH architecture, applications, topics, publications, and subscriptions
• Informatica has an understanding of Customer's application topology and integration landscape
• Agreed-upon and documented deployment decision for CIH publication repository (hosted or private)
• Prerequisites and readiness for Secure Agent configuration confirmed
• IDMC organization and infrastructure provisioned
• Secure Agent(s) provisioned and running
• Defined, documented, and approved implementation approach for the identified use case
• Customer to identify the technical subject matter expert and ensure their availability for review, sign-off, and knowledge transfer
• Customer to provide list of the technical team and ensure their availability to participate in the knowledge transfer session
• CIH hosted publication repository configured and accessible from IDMC
• IDMC CIH native user(s) created and validated
• CIH connectivity confirmed end-to-end

Professional Services Units can be converted into Training Units upon written request submitted to the Customer’s assigned Informatica Delivery Manager. The conversion ratio is one (1) Professional Services Unit to ten (10) Training Units. The converted Training Units can be used for any training currently offered in the Informatica University catalog other than training subscriptions.
