CDI Governance, Monitoring & Logging Assessment
Review and assess Customer's Cloud Data Integration (CDI) service framework. Develop an actionable plan based on Informatica-recommended best practices to address any gaps.
Key activities include:
(i) assessing adherence to CDI governance best practices
(ii) reviewing audit trails, logging, and error reporting mechanisms
(iii) ensuring monitoring tools and dashboards are configured properly
(iv) identifying gaps in logging strategies affecting issue troubleshooting
The typical schedule is as follows:
• Pre-meeting: 1 meeting (0.5 hrs.)
• Meeting to identify monitoring and logging capabilities and governance processes: 1 meeting (1 hr.)
• This catalog item requires Customer to engage Informatica to provide the full data integration wellness assessment
• Baseline CDI implementation completed on target environment by Customer for assessment
• Business objectives and use case(s) reviewed for assessment
• Data integration operational models evaluated and recommendations provided based on the CDI mapping’s ability to support the respective business use case objectives.
• Pain points in business processes identified and improvements defined
• High-level roadmap for future enhancements defined
• Customer to provide list of its technical subject matter experts and program/technical leads (e.g. data integration architects, enterprise architects, platform administrators, Informatica administrators, network administrators, etc.) who are involved in infrastructure, governance, monitoring and logging for CDI to participate in the assessment work and provide feedback
• Access to Customer environment to support the assessment and related activities
• Gaps in Customer's data integration governance identified and actionable plan defined
• Customer's data integration monitoring and logging capability assessed
• Summary of findings and information captured related to Customer's adherence to Informatica-recommended CDI governance, monitoring and logging best practices
Key content includes:
(i) CDI monitoring findings and recommendations
(ii) CDI logging findings and recommendations
(iii) CDI governance findings and recommendations

The conversion ratio is one (1) Professional Services Unit to ten (10) Training Units. The converted Training Units can be used for any training currently offered in the Informatica University catalog other than training subscriptions.
