CDI Design Assessment
Assess the design of up to ten (10) data integration mappings in Customer's current Cloud Data Integration (CDI) implementation based on two (2) high value use cases selected by Customer.
Key activities include:
(i) identifying opportunities for reusability, if appropriate
(ii) identifying opportunities for parametrization, if appropriate
(iii) assessing adherence to a naming convention
(iv) reviewing production deployment strategy
Note: This activity is limited to ten (10) data integration mappings.
The typical schedule is as follows:
• Infrastructure meetings to evaluate Customer’s solution design: 1-2 meetings (1.5 hr. each)
• This catalog item requires Customer to engage Informatica to provide the full data integration wellness assessment
• Baseline CDI implementation completed by Customer on target environment for assessment
• Customer to provide list of its technical subject matter experts and program/technical leads (e.g. data integration architects, enterprise architects, platform administrators, Informatica administrators, network administrators, etc.) who are involved in data integration pipeline design and deployment strategies to participate in the assessment work and provide feedback
• Up to two (2) high value use cases, each comprised of up to five (5) CDI mappings each selected for assessment
• Unused or underutilized CDI services identified and recommendations for action provided, where applicable
• CDI design for up to ten (10) data integration mappings reviewed, and opportunities for reusability, parametrization identified, where applicable
• CDI production deployment strategy reviewed
• Summary of findings and key recommendations related to CDI data integration design
Key content includes:
(i) identified opportunities for reusability and parametrization
(ii) Informatica's recommendations on CDI naming conventions
(iii) production deployment strategy and recommendations

Professional Services Units can be converted into Training Units upon written request submitted to the Customer’s assigned Informatica Delivery Manager. The conversion ratio is one (1) Professional Services Unit to ten (10) Training Units. The converted Training Units can be used for any training currently offered in the Informatica University catalog other than training subscriptions.
