CDI/CAI Use Case Analysis and Prioritization
Analyze identified business use cases and develop tangible technical use cases for Cloud Data Integration (CDI) or Cloud Application Integration (CAI) focusing on prioritization, automation, resourcing, and cost optimization.
Key activities include:
(i) conducting a high-level analysis of business processes
(ii) identifying prerequisites and defining roles and responsibilities for use cases
(iii) reviewing cloud data strategy with high-level data flows
(iv) reviewing and validating source-to-target mapping documentation
• This catalog item requires Customer to engage Informatica to provide the full CDI or CAI technical solution from initial design through proof of first value
• Business use cases for implementation of CDI or CAI identified
• Customer to provide source-to-target mapping specifications
• Customer resource contacts identified for the applicable use cases (e.g., database administrator, subject matter expert)
• Business use cases analyzed and prioritized, and associated technical use cases defined and prioritized
• One (1) critical technical use case and one (1) associated business use case established for implementation of CDI or CAI
• Use case prerequisites, dependencies, configurations, and roles and responsibilities identified for design and execution
• Sign-off on source-to-target mapping specifications
• Intelligent Data Management Cloud Product Availability Matrix prerequisites reviewed
• High-level Use Case Analysis Document, including prerequisites, dependencies, configurations, and a list of roles and responsibilities for the identified use case

Professional Services Units can be converted into Training Units upon written request submitted to the Customer’s assigned Informatica Delivery Manager. The conversion ratio is one (1) Professional Services Unit to ten (10) Training Units. The converted Training Units can be used for any training currently offered in the Informatica University catalog other than training subscriptions.
