CDI/CAI Technical Discovery
Applicable to Cloud Data Integration (CDI) or Cloud Application Integration (CAI).
Understand and assess the reference architecture under consideration by the Customer, analyze the existing analytics ecosystem, and examine the existing application ecosystem.
Identify integration sources and targets, as well as any Application Programming Interface or event-based integration requirements, and determine batch and real-time components of the CDI or CAI-based solutions.
Analyze CDI or CAI error handling and audit control mechanisms, evaluate methods to capture CDI or CAI run statistics and monitor activities, assess the feasibility of enabling source control for CDI or CAI, and explore integration options with Microsoft Azure Key Vault.
• Customer to provide list of its business and technical subject matter experts and program/technical leads selected to participate in workshops and make them available to provide review and feedback
• Customer to provide short-term and long-term data management goals
• Understanding obtained of Customer’s data pipeline architecture
• Understanding obtained of Customer’s data management dependencies across source and target systems and how they map to business use cases
• Data movement strategies on analytical and application ecosystems reviewed by the Customer
• Technical use cases, sources and targets identified
• Customer’s short-term and long-term data management goals reviewed

Professional Services Units can be converted into Training Units upon written request submitted to the Customer’s assigned Informatica Delivery Manager. The conversion ratio is one (1) Professional Services Unit to ten (10) Training Units. The converted Training Units can be used for any training currently offered in the Informatica University catalog other than training subscriptions.
