Description

Define the technical requirements for implementing data governance solutions based on Customer’s specified organizational needs. This includes overviews of Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) architecture, Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC), and customer application topology, as well as specifying requirements for tools such as Secure Agents, single sign-on mechanisms, and scanners. Other activities include validating prerequisites and confirming baseline business metadata requirements in an effort to ensure compatibility and functionality.

Note: Scanners can be a combination of resource scanners and lineage scanners. For example, if an ETL lineage scanner has one SQL Server source and one Oracle target, that equates to three (3). scanners (first resource: SQL Server, second resource: Oracle, and third resource: Lineage ETL)

• Technical catalog data requirements confirmed

• Business metadata requirements confirmed
