CDGC Operating Model Design & Execution Planning
Initial planning and engagement with Customer’s business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment of data governance efforts with organizational goals and objectives. Key activities include: (i) gathering requirements; (ii) planning for end user adoption; and (iii) defining the initial operating model for data governance. The focus is on establishing a clear vision, securing stakeholder buy-in, and developing a roadmap for successful implementation.
• Understanding obtained of Customer's key business drivers, associated initiatives, and other related information for data governance
• One (1) critical business use case established for the Cloud Data Governance and Catalog implementation
• Confirmation that Customer’s critical use case can be met with provisioned cloud service subscriptions
• Customer apprised of software/cloud service capabilities and functionality to address specific business challenges
• Defined adoption plan and high-level operation model
• Bulk metadata upload templates prepared for (i) glossary terms, (ii) policies, (iii) processes, (iv) systems, and (v) datasets
• Change request workflow requirements identified to manage and implement changes to data assets, policies, and processes within the organization
• Dashboard requirements identified to capture visual interfaces that provide a consolidated view of key data governance metrics and insights
