CDGC Custom Data Classifications Build
Design and build up to five (5) custom data element classifications and verify them on one (1) simple, medium, complex, or custom scanner.
Note: Complexity definitions are as follows:
(i) Simple complexity connections and scanners include: Amazon RDS MySQL, Amazon RDS Oracle, Amazon RDS PostgreSQL, Amazon RDS SQL Server, File System, IBM DB2, MariaDB, Microsoft Azure SQL Database, Microsoft SQL Server, My SQL (Community and Enterprise), Oracle DB, Teradata, DB2/zOS using jdbc
(ii) Medium complexity connections and scanners include: sources such as FTP Server, Google BigQuery, IBM Cognos, IDERA ER/Studio Data Architect, Informatica Cloud Data Integration, Informatica PowerCenter, JDBC, Looker, Microsoft Azure Synapse SQL (fka SQL DW), Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse, Microsoft OneDrive, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Sharepoint Online, Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft Windows fileshare / CIFS, MicroStrategy, Oracle Business Intelligence, Oracle Cloud Object Store, Oracle Golden Gate, Qlik Sense Cloud, QlikView, Salesforce Financial Cloud, Salesforce Health Cloud, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, SAP Business Objects, SAP PowerDesigner, Snowflake, Tableau (Server), TIBCO Spotfire

(iv) Custom Scanners include: metadata captured in the catalog via the custom scanner framework for non-native sources
• Customer has identified the scanner for testing the data element and data entity classification
• Customer has identified the custom data classifications to be built
• One (1) simple complexity scanner, medium complexity scanner, complex scanner, or custom scanner is configured for this implementation and executed successfully for metadata scans, data profiling, business term association, as applicable, in one (1) Cloud Data Governance and Catalog environment
• Customer to provide list of its technical stakeholders (admins and developers) and business stakeholders (subject matter experts) to participate in the knowledge sharing session
• Custom classification requirement gathered
• Document custom classification information such as design and technical logic
• Up to five (5) custom data element classifications designed and built
• One (1) data entity classification created using the above custom data element classifications
• One (1) two-hour knowledge sharing session conducted on the implemented classifications

Professional Services Units can be converted into Training Units upon written request submitted to the Customer’s assigned Informatica Delivery Manager. The conversion ratio is one (1) Professional Services Unit to ten (10) Training Units. The converted Training Units can be used for any training currently offered in the Informatica University catalog other than training subscriptions.
