Description

Hold a workshop with the Customer's key business and technical stakeholders to capture relevant information for the use case the Customer has identified for Cloud Data Access Management (CDAM) implementation from the perspective of the following personas   (also described as user roles):

(i) Data Consumer : capture the business objectives of the use case, justification on why accessing the data is fulfilling a business outcome, and how and where the data is being consumed, etc.

(ii) Data Guardian: capture the privacy risk of the use case, what information can be accessed, who can access the data and in what context

(iii) Data Owner: capture information on the underlying data source(s), such as who owns the data, how frequently it is updated, how it is updated, what information it contains, etc.

Based on the information gathered for the use case, confirm up to two (2) tables comprised of up to two (2) source and up to two (2) target connections for implementation.

Capture high level namse and sample descriptions of additional use cases. 

The typical workshop schedule is as follows:   

• Workshop: 1 meeting (2 hrs.) – limited up to 15 people

• One (1) one-hour workshop held to deep dive into one (1) critical business use case for CDAM implementation and gather key information for each persona/user role based upon the identified use case

• Up to two (2) source and up to two (2) target connections for accessing and consuming data confirmed for the use case description and design

• Data collection and linked assets defined

• Delivery target defined

• The applicable CDAM consumption  pattern for the use case between OnLoad, OnRead, or Pushdown confirmed with Customer

• Additional use cases captured (at a high level)

• Privacy risk for the selected use case assessed
