Description

Configure process flow maps in Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) to visualize end‑to‑end business process flows. Set up parent-to-child process hierarchies and define relationships to accurately generate process flow lines. Implement expand or collapse sections, overlays, zoom controls and display settings using existing metadata, and validate maps with business subject matter experts, and deliver a runbook and provide a demonstration for Customer enablement.

Key activities include:

(i) documenting important business activities by structuring parent processes and linking their corresponding child process steps

(ii) verifying the Customer's environment and permissions

(iii) defining relationships and other metadata associations to contextualize why data is consumed

(iv) setting up map display settings, including graph controls and visual overlays

(v) validating process hierarchies, key stages, and map relationship logic

(vi) delivering a final walkthrough, demonstration, and runbook for Customer enablement

Note: Scope is limited to configuration using existing metadata. Data model changes, custom code, and external integrations are not included.

Business/Technical Outcomes

• Up to five (5) parent business processes documented and structured with up to twenty (20) total child process steps representing key execution stages

• Relationships defined for up to twenty (20) process objects to map the exact direction and sequence of process flow lines
