Provide Customer with guidance and inputs to facilitate the migration of business assets from the existing on-premise Axon Data Governance solution deployed by Customer (On-Premise Axon) using the modernization utility for process automation, where applicable, or performing migration activities manually.
Key activities include:
• migrating business assets manually using bulk upload templates prepared based on the assets exported from On-Premise Axon by the Customer (or with Informatica’s assistance )
• migrating business assets using the modernization utility for migration process automation for supported business asset types
• applying customizations on assets during templates preparation or after migration
• providing post-migration assessment, validation, and reporting
• supporting end-user validation and knowledge transfer
Note: Migration of change request objects and Informatica Data Quality artifacts is not included. The only data quality assets created in are placeholder rule occurrences without assigning any rule specifications.
• Understanding obtained of Customer's key business drivers, associated initiatives, and other related information for On-Premise Axon
• Business use cases for modernization implementation identified and prioritized
• Customer apprised of software/cloud service capabilities and functionality in an effort to address specific business challenges
• Customer stops all update/delete activity in On-Premise Axon during the migration
• Customer to provide On-Premise Axon business assets bulk exports in case manual migration is necessary
• Axon modernization assessment documentation available
• Modernization utility deployed (if applicable) with deployment documentation available
• Connectivity to On-Premise Axon and CDGC from the modernization utility verified (if applicable)
• IDMC/CDGC configured with agreed-upon customizations with documentation available
• Secure Agent installed and operational
• Roles with privileges and security measures created with documentation available
• Customer to provide access for Informatica personnel to the production instance of On-Premise Axon
• Customer to provide access for Informatica personnel to the agreed-upon IDMC environment
• Subscriptions or licenses for Informatica products are not included as part of this offering. Customer must have separately obtained subscriptions or licenses for the Informatica products applicable to this offering.
Migration for one (1) production environment/Org/Sub-org.
Business assets migrated:
• Up to five thousand (5,000) glossary assets of different types, including domain, subdomain, business term, and metric
• Up to five hundred (500) systems
• Up to five hundred (500) datasets -
• Up to one hundred policies
• Up to one hundred (100) processes
• Up to one hundred (100) projects
• Up to one hundred (100) business areas
• Up to one hundred legal entities)
• Up to one hundred (100) geographies
• Up to one hundred regulations
• Up to twenty thousand (20,000) attributes
• Up to one hundred (100) placeholder rule occurrences (unconnected to Cloud Data Quality rules)
Additional tasks:
• Up to fifty thousand (50,000) relationships migrated
• Up to two hundred stakeholders migrated
• Business lineage migration: up to twenty thousand (20,000) attribute to attribute relationships and up to five hundred (500) dataset to dataset relationships migrated
• Data Governance Migration Execution Runbook, including post-migration assessment report
