Overview
The Microsoft Fabric OneLake Connector provides seamless and secure integration with Microsoft Fabric OneLake, enabling data to be read from and written to the platform. It supports a variety of file formats, including flat files and complex structured files such as Avro, JSON, ORC, Parquet, and PDF files within CDI-Advanced mappings.
Pre-Requisites
- Power BI Setup:
- Create a workspace.
- Configure a Lakehouse in the Fabric workspace (Admin privileges required).
- Azure Portal Setup:
- Register an application in Azure Active Directory.
- Generate and use the Client ID, Tenant ID, and Client Secret for authentication.
- Create a security group and assign workspace owners or members.
- Enable Power BI service admin settings for API access via Azure applications.
- Connector Properties:
- The workspace name must not contain special characters or spaces.
- Lakehouse paths must be defined as '/' (root) or as <lakehouse_name>/Files for accessing specific sections.
