Custom Attributes creation and its interoperability with Catalog Assets

Overview
In Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC), assets are described and managed using two main types of attributes: system attributes and custom attributes. These attributes serve distinct purposes and play crucial roles in the metadata management and data governance processes.
Custom attributes are user-defined metadata elements that allow organizations to capture additional, context-specific information about their assets. Unlike system attributes, custom attributes are flexible and can be tailored to meet specific business or governance needs.
Pre-Requisites
- Basic Knowledge of CDGC and MCC apps.
- Extracted/created technical or business assets.
- User role must have ‘View Custom Attributes’ and ‘Manage Custom Attributes’ features enabled under MCC service.
