Overview
The APIs can be created using Informatica CAI (Cloud Application Integration). In CAI, one can define the API logic and design the flow using a process designer interface. Once the design is complete, you can get the API URL after publishing. After creating the API, it can be managed using the API Manager. The API Manager provides the options to define security policies and authentication mechanisms to connect to the API.
Pre-Requisites
- Access to Informatica CAI and API Manager: The user must have access to the Informatica CAI and API Manager platform where you can create and manage APIs.
- Third-party API or database credentials: if your API design involves connecting to third-party APIs or databases, the user needs the credentials for the API or the database.
