Overview

The REST V2 Connector is used to interact with web service applications built on REST architecture. It is utilized in source, target, or midstream transformations within mappings in Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). The connector supports Swagger (2.0) and OpenAPI (3.0.x) specifications to facilitate seamless integration with REST-based services. To enable its use, a Swagger or OpenAPI JSON specification file must be provided for accurate service interactions. When used midstream in a mapping, a business service must first be created for the desired operation, which can then be used to read or write data to the target application. 

To create a REST V2 connection: 

  1. Use the Administrator console in IDMC to configure the connection.  
  2. Specify the Swagger file and authentication method (e.g., OAuth 2.0, JWT token, or API key).  
  3. Test the connection to ensure proper configuration.
