Overview

Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 is a scalable and secure storage solution that combines big data capabilities with traditional analytics. Its integration with Cloud Application Integration (CAI) enables users to securely write data to the storage system. It supports multiple file formats, including flat files as well as complex types like Avro, JSON, ORC, and Parquet. Advanced use cases can leverage this integration to work with Delta Lake files and PDF documents.

Within Informatica CAI, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 can be used as the target container for file creation through a defined process. This process includes creating a connection to Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, configuring event targets, and defining file contents thorugh assignments. This solution streamlines data operations across business processes.
